Guiding helps bring members of all ages together to have fun. It is a voluntary organisation - none of the Guiders are paid, they all go this to help the girls and to have their own fun. Preseli District is continuously fundraising to raise much needed money to subsidise activities for it's members. Many of our members are from low income families and wouldn't be able to take part in many of our activities without your help.
There are many ways in which you can help Girlguiding Preseli District and here are just a few:
Help is always much appreciated during weekly meetings, whether you can help every week or just once a term. Do you have a skill or special interest to which you could teach our members. If so please fill in our online form.
We are collecting all makes of Printer (and photocopier) Ink Cartridges and Old Mobile Phones for recycyling. In return Preseli District International Fund raises much needed money. Even better it doesn't cost you a penny. You send us your Used Cartridges and Mobile Phones we post them off to a recycling company and in return get donations.
Do you pay tax? If so then we can claim Gift Aid back on all donations including weekly subscriptions. It doesn't cost you a penny. For more information talk to your Guider.
