1st Crymych Brownies Annual Report for 2007

September saw us starting back with many new girls joining us.  Some of us attended the AGM in Haverfordwest in November and the unit took part in the Remembrance Sunday service and parade in Crymych together with the Guides and Seniors.
The girls all started their communications badge but not all managed to finish it before the holidays.
December we joined Bwlchygroes Community Hall for an old fashioned Christmas carol singing to raise funds for their Hall.  We also held a coffee morning in the Guildhall in Cardigan to raise funds for our unit.
January we finished the communications badge for those who had not completed it before the holiday.  We also held our Christmas party.
The girls gained many badges including Road Safety, Hostess where the girls entertained the Vicar, his wife and Brown Owl’s mother and mother-in-law in the squash courts at the leisure centre.
The brownies joined with the guides for a fun evening in Crymych library which was very successful.
Good Friday we all attended the service in St. Clydau’s Church followed by our traditional Easter Egg hunt in Brown Owl’s woods.
For Mothering Sunday we decorated plant pots and filled them with violets.
We have been holding our weekly meetings in the lounge at Crymych Leisure Centre which gives us much more room in which to play games, etc.
