Girlguiding UK is the largest voluntary organisation for girls and young women in the UK, of which there are over 600,000 members.
Within Guiding there are opportunities for girls and young women to:
be challenged by new adventures and experiences
develop new skills from communication and team building, to commitment and enthusiasm
become more self aware, self respecting and gain self confidence
make friends and have great fun
develop their own talents, skills and interests
Internationally we are a part of WAGGGS which has over 10million members in 144 countries. Despite differences in culture, creed and race we all share the same traditions and aims. Go to www.wagggsworld.org to find out more.
Within WAGGGS we have many symbols of unity as well as the promise and laws to bind us together.
